 Doordarshan's DTH platform is known as    DD Direct. (DVD QUALITY PICTURES&SOUND,NO MONTHILY RENTALS; 

 PAGARIA-3375/- (6 MONTHS GUARANTEE); GEEPAS-3775/-(1 YEAR guarantee) 

TRISCOPE-3890/-(6 MONTHS GUARANTEE);NIG -3775/-(3 MONTHS GUARANTEE)

This bouquet comprise of following TV channels.       

i) DD News, DD Bharati, DD Sports, DD India, DD National and all DD regional channels.
ii) IGNOU's Gyandarshan & Eklavya, Kissan Channel
iii) In addition to this, it will also have several popular TV channels(SUN TV,KAIRALI) on news, entertainment & information.
Initially, it will have 40 channels and will add 10 more channels after 2-3 months. The formal launch of Doordarshan's DTH is expected to be mid August 2004. Doordarshan has already started test trials for their DTH platform.
